We left Montana Saturday morning, stopped for lunch in Sandpoint, Idaho, overnighted in Spokane, Washington, and in spite of the contentious winds in the Columbia River Gorge, arrived in Portland, Oregon, Sunday afternoon. Last year we got just a glimpse of Mount Hood before the clouds took over but with clearer skies we’ve had plenty of these views so far. And with a really nice RV park, highs in the mid-seventies and microbreweries on nearly every corner we plan to stay for awhile!
